At VIP Imports, high horsepower cars are a pretty common occurrence, but
this 02 Viper actually sets the record of the highest Horsepower vehicle
we've ever had on our web site!
The owner of this '02 Viper, based out of Houston, TX, has been a long-term
customer and has also built several cars, which set the Horsepower record
within their model/class. The owner of this car is also very active in the
Viper and Supra community and organizes a phenomenal Supra/Viper event each
year, which draw national attendance.
This is a rare opportunity to own one of the fastest Dodge Vipers in the
WORLD! The engine has 12,700 bone stock miles, 200 of which are on the built
motor. Zero track use. Only 160 02 Viper GTS were produced in this color.
This Viper was purchased in stock from out of Reno, NV. with just over 12K
miles on it and it had been bone stock all its life. The Viper was taken to
RSI in Houston, Texas to have the upgrades performed with 12,500 miles on
the car. RSI has a reputation for being a high end Viper shop and they are
known for building some of the most durable and dependable motors in the US
for these cars.
Over a 6-month period, RSI completed every performance upgrade to this
Viper. Kevin Kesterson of RSI built this car from the ground up. He is the
one who was responsible for every single modification on this car and would
be happy to vouch for and speak with any serious potential buyers.
The upgrades RSI performed are listed in detail at the bottom of this ad,
and include upgrading the motor with a built stroker kit consitiing of:
8.5:1 turbo compression pistons, carillo rods, main caps, all assorted bolts
and RSI spec’ed motor clearances. In addition, Greg Good performed his full
assortment of modifications to the head. These modifications include inconel
valves, titanium springs/retainers, full port and polish. In addition, the
head includes a solid roller cam with jesel rockers.
No expense was spared in the build-up of this motor and there is nothing
left that could have possibly been done to modify the motor and/or head. To
duplicate the build on this Viper would cost $100K at RSI.
With the boost set at 25-26 psi this car will produced 1,470+ rwhp. With the
boost controller turned off (13psi) the Viper makes 950 rwhp. Below are

All tuning on this car was done by Justin Nenni of tuningconcepts.com. The
RSI custom twin 76GTS 0.96 a/r tiwn turbo kit is a one of a kind front mount
kit. This kit is the most efficient turbo design out there on the market,
compared to a 522 SRT-10 with 74 GTS 0.81 a/r turbo. The Viper's turbos
spool quicker and makes more power even considering the custom turbos are
larger. This is all due to the turbo design efficiency and has been verified
by dyno charts.
The car comes with two boost controllers, the Blitz boost controller is for
street use, and the AEM boost solenoid is needed for track use.
