Update 02/05/07: We have filmed a series
of several videos of this Supra, including the
Exterior, Interior, Engine Bay, and the best
one, a ride from both inside and oustide of the
vehicle. The ride was filmed on pump gas
and the lowest boost setting because we didn't
want to excessively "beat on the car" we did
some short accelerations to give a feel for the
car at 16lbs of boost. The was our
videographer's first attempt at this and there
is a lot of room for improvement. The ride
video is a bit choppy, and we may re-shoot a new
one that is less choppy.: I can only begin
to state what a total rush driving this car is.
Totally docile and streetable until you mash the
throttle down! The Blow-off Valve also
sounds amazing! One last note, in the
engine bay review, there is steam coming from
the exaust due to fresh startup of the car on a
cold morning, this Supra does not blow any

Here is
a rare opportunity to own 1 of 9 '98 Supra Turbo
Automatic's in the highly sought after Quicksilver
FX color. The first comment we receive when someone
views this Supra is they can't believe the car has
78k miles as it is in the condition exterior &
interior-wise of a car with 1/2 the mileage. The
Supra has all original paint on all panels and
matching Vin tags.
The original owner added the performance upgrades of
an PTE67 Turbo in 2003 when the car had 63,000
miles. This Supra has made 711 Rear Wheel Horsepower
and is extremely fast. The Fikse Profil 5S 18"
wheels were added within the past couple months and
are in brand new condition.

To understand how rare and sought after a '98 Supra
Turbo Quicksilver FX, it requires an understanding
of Supra Turbos production numbers. The 4th
Generation Toyota Supra Turbo was discontinued in
1998. This car has since become recognized as one of
the most over-engineered cars ever produced--capable
of 1200 HP from the stock engine and drive train.
Due to the performance potential and styling the
MKIV Supra Turbo continues to be one of the most
sought after "special interest" vehicles on the
market. 7,866 MKIV Supra Turbo's were produced in
the US between 1993 and 1998, with only 502 produced
in the last year of 1998. Only subtle variances
exist between the year; however the 1998 Supra is
the most collectable due to being the smallest
production year and the last year. Only in the final
year of 1998 did Toyota offer the Quicksilver FX
color. 33 total Quicksilver Supras were produced
with 24 being 6-speeds and 9 automatics, making the
1998 Quicksilver Supra one of the rarest and most
sought after Supras ever produced. Below are the

If you haven't seen the color Quicksilver is real
life, you may be wondering what is so special about
this paint color. We were lucky enough to own one of
the 24 six speed Quicksilver Supras up until just a
year ago when we sold it. Our opinion is that the
Quicksilver Color is the most striking factory paint
color ever produced on any car. The silver paint has
the perfect balance of color--not too light and not
too dark. The metallic in the paint creates a sheen
that causes the car to standout like it is glowing.
