We Sold this Porsche to a local dentist and received
it back on trade for a highly modified 993 TT, which
his decision was based on preference toward buying a
modified car rather than Modifying this one. This
Porsche 993 TT recently had a compression and
leakdown test performed, which came in with
compression of 150psi in all six cylinders and a
leakdown of 2% or less in every cylinder.
The Carfax Report and ownership history of this car
are as follows: This was one of the first 993 Turbos
released, coming out in May of 1995 to a dealership
in Florida. At this time these cars were hugely
anticipated and bringing thousands above sticker
price. The dealership advertised the car and used it
for promotions and eventually auctioned the car at a
high end specialty auction for top dollar to another
dealer who sold it to its first real private owner
in Texas. The 2nd owner was based out of California
and eventually relocated to Oregon. We obtained the
car from the 2nd private owner. The majority of the
miles and maintenance records were completed by the
owner in Texas and have been verified by the both
the stamps in the book and the dealership in Texas
who serviced the car. The second owner's records
have also been verified.
We purchased the car from the 2nd owner and the
dentist owned the car for approximately 4 months.
This 911 Turbo is in pristine condition as pictured
below. Upon the most detailed scan of the entire car
and in the spirit of our "full disclosure" policy,
listed below are every flaw we've been able to
identify on the car. Upon request we will be happy
to send detailed pictures of any of these mentioned;
however, some are too minor to show up in pictures.
Some
scratches in the roof that don't appear to be
through the paint (may buff out). Paint Condition is
what we consider well above expected for the
mileage. A side from the scratches on the roof,
there is very minimal rock chips/Scratches/Flaws
around the entire car--a total of five we were able
to identify/worth mentioning around the entire car.
One rear
wheel has curb scrapes and two on drivers side have
one nick on each rim so minor that most would never
see or mention them.
Rear
trunk lid supports (shocks) are weak (common issue
on these cars)
