Here we
have a very clean 1997 Jewel Green Supra GT62 Turbo, Targa,
6-speed with 43K miles. This Supra is in
outstanding condition as the pictures demonstrate.
In our opinion this is the ultimate street Supra -
small quick spooling Turbo making an amazing
585HP on pump gas at 20 lbs of
boost.
There is a free link to the carfax report above,
showing this Supra has a clean carfax history.
We had an inspection and compression
test performed on this Supra and everything checked
out great with compression in each cylinder coming
in at 172-175. During the inspection the shop also
put the Supra on their dyno and the results were
very impressive--coming in at 585 Wheel HP at 20
lbs of boost on pump gas. Below are the dyno

that inspected and tuned this supra) describing
this Supra: "I
highly endorse this supra. It's at my shop right now
for a "check up" and will be put on the dyno to make
sure everything is tip top before it goes to a new
owner. It's a stunning example of a single turbo
supra built for the street. It has never been
tracked or abused, always garaged, and never seen
snow. It's not over done or under done. I would buy
it if I didn't own one already. Consider it one of
those rare "turn key" street legends...classy enough
to take it out to dinner...tough enough to stand up
to any confrontation."

We can provide options on the
Wheels and Seats. If
the original stock seats are preferred over the
Sparco's, we may be able to obtain a set of the
original seats that came out of this Supra in very
nice condition. We also have many
wheels options, including 4-5
sets of Fikse wheels, which would obviously be an
upgrade.
This
Supra has very little to reveal in the way of
flaws. There is a slight ding in the targa roof
that would likely be an easy PDR (paintless dent
removal) candidate. The car has all matching vins
and all original paint except for one panel, which
the prior owner describes the incident below:
"All original VIN tags are in place. To my
great disappointment, I had to have the lowest
part of the driver side quarter panel repaired.
It was a very depressing day. I took the car to
my good friend’s car show. It’s really ironic
because I hate car shows. Anyway, when I was
backing the car into place I heard an awful
grating noise. The idiot who was guiding me into
place didn’t see the tent spike sticking 10
inches out of the ground. It caught the lowest
part of the quarter panel behind the wheel about
6 inches long. I was so crushed, I immediately
took the car home.
I did not go cheap on the repair. I took it to
CAVALLO AUTO

which is more like a museum than an auto body
shop. They are simply the best high end shop in
the tri-state area. They work on Ferraris,
Bentlys, Lambos, and such. The repair work cost
me $3000, which is a load of money for that
small of a repair. They assured me it could only
be detected by the most scrutinizing expert.
That included the quarter repair, blending into
the rear bumper/hatch, and new emblems. The
front bumper was removed at the same time and
refinished to eliminate the usual rock chips.
No other paintwork or body repair has been done
on my car."

performance upgrades, with a tune that was completed
by Car2V. Some
